Hollow Metal Doors
Our hollow metal doors are manufactured with a rust resistant galvanneal steel. With the various sizes and options available, our doors are constructed to meet the most rigid architectural demands.
Core Types
- Honeycomb – Made of high-density honeycomb core, laminated under pressure along with interlocking lock seam edges to ensure durability.
- Insulated – Door has a styrene or polyurethane core.
- Steel Stiffened – Door has vertical steel stiffeners to increase strength and life span.
Specifications
- 16 gauge for heavy duty use.
- 18 gauge for moderate duty uses
- 20 gauge for light duty uses
- Doors are Flush with no Face Seam
- Doors have 1/8 bevel in 2” (3°)
Top and bottom of door have 16-gauge steel end channel projections welded on. Hinge and lock edges have vertical, mechanically inter-locking seams and are sealed in RRPC 3 adhesive.
Doors are mortised, reinforced, drilled, and tapped for: standard cylindrical lock or blank reinforcement for push/pull or rim panic bars.
Three 4 ½ template hinges for 1 ¾ thick doors.
Available with steel or vinyl top caps, tacked and fully welded seams.

Welded and Knockdown (3 piece) Frames
Welded Frames
Interlink Doors & Windows carries a variety of standard 16- and 18-gauge metal frames. Most common stock welded frames sold are 3’0 x 7’0 and 3’2 x 7’0 and 6’0 x 7’0, with a 5-7/8” jamb size. These welded frames are available with a standard strike prep, standard strike prep and dead lock prep above, or blank with a panic bar reinforcement in the soffit.
Our frames can also be prepped with dimpled holes for tapcon screws or for existing masonry sleeve bolts.
We also specialize in manufacturing custom welded frames to suit the needs of our customers. Our production team at ABC has up-to-date CNC machines and brake presses, with the proper tooling, to create a wide variety of frame profiles and sizes.
Knockdown (3 piece) Frames
Specifications
- 16-gauge (1.6 mm) or 18-gauge (1.2 mm) galvanneal steel.
- For use with 1 ¾ (45 mm) wood or steel doors.
- Available in these standard wall sizes (custom sizes are also available)
- 3-½ | 4-5/8 | 4-7/8
- Prepared for 9/32 silencer holes.
- All jambs come complete with base and centre strap anchors and an adjustable top tension anchor.
- All frames made to ABC’s standard hinge and strike location.

Stainless Steel Doors and Frames
Interlink Doors & Windows stainless steel doors are made in house and built to your specifications. Stainless steel offers an aesthetically pleasing approach to fire rated doors and frames. Along with its sharp appearance, they are also corrosion resistant, offering a great use for high humidity areas.
Our stainless steel doors and frames are known for their extreme durability, anti-corrosive properties and ease of sterilization. Their unique qualities are commonly used in health care facilities, government buildings, offices, community centres, pools, hospitality sectors and industrial environments.
Lead lined and Acoustic Doors and Frames
Interlink Doors & Windows provides custom lead lined doors and frames. Common in hospitals, lead lined doors and frames are built to offer protection from radiation, with various thickness ranging from 1/16 to 1/4 inch of lead. Doors can be made of 16- or 18-gauge steel, with steel stiffeners. Lead lined door sizes are available up to 4’0 by 8’0. Frames can be made with standard or custom profiles to fit the end users needs.
Our sound rated assemblies come with an STC 46 rating. They can also carry a fire rating. Our sound resistant assemblies offer a solution for the reduction of sound transmission.
